| Description | Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) is a small molecule quinone compound. Although it is relatively rare in plants and animals, its content in breast milk is relatively significant. The most striking function of PQQ is that it acts as a redox agent, which can effectively reduce harmful oxidants in the body. Its unique "charging" ability allows PQQ to maintain its active state after reacting with glutathione and circulating multiple times. PQQ can promote the proliferation and functional improvement of mitochondria.
