AcHA sodium acetylated hyaluronate is a moisturizing and hydrating skin care ingredient made from the natural moisturizing factor hyaluronic acid (HA) through the reaction of acetylation. Acetyl group has both lipophilic and hydrophilic properties, which helps AcHA adhere firmly to the skin surface. Its small molecular weight enables AcHA to rapidly penetrate the stratum corneum. As a result, AcHA can adhere tightly to the epidermis in a semi-immersed structure. This prevents water evaporation and improves water accumulation from within, while penetrating the skin to bind water and soften the stratum corneum. AcHA has a refreshing, non-sticky feel that provides excellent moisturization, repairs the skin barrier, improves skin elasticity, and smooths the skin.
